Culture Mosaic Survey

An employee survey that shows you how your people actually experience your culture. It measures culture across the four dimensions of the Mosaic Performance Framework (Adapt, Inspire, Deliver and Enable) and compares your results against other organizations’ scores where the comparison pool is large enough. Buy it online, set it up yourself, and download a designed, presentation-ready report.

Mosaic Performance Framework - Assessments

The Culture Assessment Process

In developing the framework, we drew on research on the Competing Values Framework (Cameron & Quinn) to identify the elements of organizational functioning that shape how work actually gets done. We focused on distilling the key factors that can be visibly observed in day-to-day behavior. This allows us to gather valuable insights from members of our client organizations who can report their observations of these behaviors within the group.

Why Behaviors Matter

The Culture Mosaic Survey is grounded in the belief that achieving and sustaining a high level of performance is dependent on a variety of key behaviors across an organization.

Culture Mosaic Links To Performance

Psychological Safety Index

The highest performing teams have one thing in common – they create a sense of psychological safety amongst the members of their organizations where people feel that they will not be punished for making mistakes. Breakthroughs can only be achieved when team members feel safe enough to speak their minds, take smart risks, and engage in creative thinking. The team at gothamCulture believes that truly significant and sustainable change is only possible if an adequate level of psychological safety exists amongst the staff and leaders.

Optional Subscales

For clients who want to dive deeper into some of the most important topics in organizational life today, we have developed a series of optional subscales that can be added to your Culture Mosaic Survey in order to provide additional insight into the following topics:

Employee Engagement

Assesses the level of commitment and involvement employees have, offering insights into motivation and productivity.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Examines how well the organization promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion — ensuring a fair workplace where everyone can contribute.

Resilience

Measures the organization's and employees' capacity to adapt, recover, and thrive — including the physical, mental, and emotional well-being that underpins resilience during challenges or change.

Accessibility

Examines how well the organization removes barriers so everyone — regardless of ability — can fully participate at work.

The Culture Dig

Culture Dig goes deeper: an 8–12-week program in which small teams research seven domains of your culture while everyone else contributes a short story, brought together in one findings report.
