DEIA Subscale
The Mosaic Performance Framework Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) subscale is designed to assess the way people from different groups within your organization are experiencing the culture and the extent to which they feel accepted, valued, and integrated. Two key factors are assessed in this survey:
- organizational justice and
- perceived organizational support
This DEIA survey is designed to assist organizations and government agencies in a change process to identify, define, and achieve goals related to DEIA. Organizational assessments provide a benchmark to inform quality improvement efforts, recognizing that change is an adaptive process that takes time.
The DEIA survey subscale consists of 33 items, broken down into four categories:
- Diversity: The practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.
- Equity: The quality of being fair and impartial.
- Inclusion: The act of embracing all people irrespective of race, gender, disability, medical condition, or other needs.
- Accessibility: Those with a disability must be able to access information and services as fully, equally, and independently as people without disabilities.
